A little bit of February!

Bucket hat. Does it look good on me? I know it’s been a trend. I’ve seen people wearing them and I like them, so today I gave myself the chance to wear it and see how it looked. I think I like it! What do you think? Should I keep wearing it? At least it look kinda chic!

Can you guess what I was cooking? So we got some homemade pâté brisé and poireaux! 🙂

Uffff, actually the kitchen smelled so freakin good! This is my first time cooking quiche au poireaux, but let me tell you that I’ve enjoyed it so much. I really hope it’s as good as it seems! We will try it tonight! By the way, today is Valentine’s Day!!

Omggggg! Today I went to this street in Paris where there’s a lot of musical instrument stores. G recommended it to me, so I thought it could be nice to give it a try. So there I was, walking from Lafayette near Opera towards Rue Rome. I must say that once I got there, I spent about 15 minutes outside thinking “should I go in there?” I guess I was getting so nervous because it was lunch break and all the people that work there were having lunch sitting together at a table, soooo I opened the door (finally took some courage) and everyone looked at me. So first thing I said was “I don’t speak French, and sorry for interrupting, but you can keep eating, I’ll do my thing” and to be honest, what I didn’t want was to be the center of attention, so it was good that they were busy eating their meals while I was playing the piano in one of the corners.

Playing a little bit of Someone Like You by Adele. This is the first song I learnt how to play properly. I mean, the first song I chose to learn by just listening and watching videos. I love it, however, you can really tell that I need to practice more because indeed I haven’t played in such a long time (about 5-6 months), and I was also very shy.
